Internet business is NO different from offline business,you need to spend time to learn and build your empire, especially for newbie. You heard people making USD 10k ,20k or 50K in 1 day right? but do you know that how long they take to master the skills before he/she achieve this result. It might be 2-5 years! That right!

What is the difference between Training & Coaching?

For most of the people, it might look the same. But let me clarify, both of them are completely different. Based on wikipedia Training is refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relates to specific useful skills.

Training is where you learn the soft skill or I would say that the fundamental. For example, if you like to play golf, will you go straight to the game before learn what to swing the golf clubs? Of course No!

First you must equip yourself with basics training skills, learnt how to swing the golf club, understand the rules of the game etc.

“Coaching” is more personal (1-3 people in a group or sometimes is one to one). They will guide you step by step to ensure you doing the correct thing. Coach do not make decision for you, they can only guide you. You have to pick up the ball and hit it yourself.

Also coach is not necessary better than you. Let take the example of Andrew Agassi. He has a personal coach. If both of them playing tennis, guess who will win? Definitely Andrew!

So why he need a coach? The bottom line is coach is to guide you and not doing job for you!

You might wonder why do i talking about this subject and what it going to do with internet marketing?

Godaddy or BlueHost?

Which is the best affordable and reliable web hosting available in the market?

For your information, i have been using Godaddy hosting for 1 year. I have more than 3 hosting and 10 domain register with them.

To be frank, I am not so happy with the services provided. I had a experience that, my website was down for 3 days and domain forward fault for 4 Days. When i email them, no concrete answer is given. Normally just need to wait and see.

Is Making Money Online taxable in Malaysia?

I believe a lot of people staying in Malaysia is wondering whether they have to pay tax for money they earn via website example selling product at Ebay, Goggle Adsense, online trading etc.

Prior to 2001, all income which comes from outside Malaysia will be tax. After the new ruling, all income from international are tax exempt. It is to encourage Malaysian to bring oversea money into Malaysia.

But it must fulfill these requirements :

1) The source of money must from outside Malaysia (Adsense, Ebay )
2) The customers must be outside Malaysia

For website based income, this is the incentive.

Para 13. Tax Incentives For Offshore Trading Via Websites
Income received by companies undertaking offshore trading via websites in Malaysia will be taxed at a concessionary rate of 10% for a period of 5 years, on condition it is approved by the Minister of Finance. Income after tax distributed to shareholders is also exempted from tax.

Blogging and Big Bucks!

Today, I come across a newspaper article and spot this ads that inspired me to read on. The topic is about “Blogging and Big Bucks”.

The article is talking about how you can use blog for advertising. What is the feature of blogging and how much you can make out of it?

Some people make big buck of money and some don’t? why is this happen?

A common ads that most people do is via goggle adsense. Ads that pay you based on pay per click, cost per thousand impressions & cost per action.

When blogging, people can see whether you are writing sincerely or just the sake of money. If your blog does not have a good content, it will eventually lost the viewer. So, the advise is be serious when Blogging!

Online ads is a big business in America but in Malaysia it is still a small business model as we yet to have a habits of online purchasing.

Global company such as Sony,LG and Intel already know the potential of online ads and blog advertising, but in Malaysia people still rely on print ads like newspaper. It will take sometime before blog ads become popular.

According to Rich Schefren, in order to build a successful online businesses , you must have 7 important elements. If you miss out anyone of them, I guarantee your business will not last for really long. That is why you heard people say that 80% of the business is closed in the first 5 year and the remaining 20% is out for the next 5 years.

There are 7 major components that determine whether your business is going to success or failure.

Vision=>Strength=>Passion=>Resources=>Alliance Partners=>Powerful Tactics=>Action Plan

If you have all the 7 important element, you are in the right track, you are building a successful online business model. Let say now, you miss one of the component “Vision”.

“Vision” is how you foresee your business grow in future. Will it be number 1 in the market place or just an ordinary company? If you do not have “Vision” , you definitely do not have any ideas where you are heading and that will lead to “Confusion”.

If you do not have “Strength”, you will feel “Anxiety” as other people is more knowledgeable. One day, they might take over your business. Strength is what you good at and do better the most.

If you do not have “Passion”, what will happen to your business in long run?

“Alliance Partners” is the part I like most. If you want to grow your business faster, you need to have to work with someone. You alone cannot concur the whole market. Look for partnership to work together! Partner with similar goal will lead you to success.

If you do not have “Powerful Tactics”, then you are not catching up with your competitor. You are going to loose in the battle field. Other people are enjoying catching the big fish and you only get a small fish. This problem will lead to “Poor Result”.

Alright, now come to the last part call “Action Plan”. If you miss out element, nothing is going to move and you are still who you are. Talk is Cheap!

You know what! you are making a BIG mistakes in your life. If your product do not have any competitors at all, then it is pretty sure that is no one searching for that product as well.

A really powerful marketing tips I learned from my Internet Guru Alex Mandossian is that “Always Improve, Do Not Invent” Find a product that already available online and improved the quality or add more benefits to that existing product. You must create a Unique Selling Proposition (USP). There is where you differentiate your business from other competitor and make them buy from you over and over again.

Ok, do these stop me from setting up Pay Pal account? The answer is NO. I can always use another Country address. I set up Pay Pal with Singapore address. By the way Singapore is Malaysia neighbour country and pay pal have an office at Singapore.

Any payment will send via cheque to Singapore. From Singapore I can ask them to send to me at Malaysia.

That is how the system works! Not rocket science right.

Start apply Pay Pal Account now and integrated to you website. Hope this information Help.

World Internet Users

Do you know which region in this world have the most internet user? Is it Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Middle East or Australia/Oceania?

The answer is Asia! Yes it in Asia with approximately 389 million people online as Jan 2007. Follow by Europe 313 million and North America 232 million.

If you are a serious Internet Marketer, Asia is the market must tap into. China itself have about 36% user online which contribute the most to Asia region.

According to a semi-annual survey conducted by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), as of the end of 2006 the number of Internet users in China was estimated to be 137 million, a 10.5% penetration rate.

While that penetration rate is small compared with many other countries around the globe, China ranks second only to the US in the overall number of users online.

In fact, many analysts feel that the number of Internet users in China will surpass the number of US users within two years. At the current rate of growth it is forecast that Chinese Internet users will exceed the 210 million US users by 2009.

Importantly, over 90 million of those users are already connected by broadband. While the Chinese government figures show nearly 140 million Chinese users, there are less than half that many connected computers.

Vital Wave estimates that 50% or more of the users in China connect on shared-access points, such as Internet cafes and school labs, or by hand-held mobile devises.

Until the gap between Internet usage and computer ownership in China narrows, the market opportunities for hardware and software providers will not be as prevalent as the usage numbers would normally indicate.

"But to tap into that market, business managers have to evaluate market data in the context of their own business model."

Access aside, the CNNIC figures show that Chinese Internet users closely resemble users around the world, though the user population does skew more male than female.

After doing some online research, I found out that a lot of people are not still sure or unaware about blogging?

What is blogging? Can I make money with blogging?

There are reported about 50 million blog in 2006 and as compare to 2005 with 7 million. In other word ,there is a blog created every 2 minutes. That is how popular with blogging. It take less than 5 minutes to create a Blog. Try it out and i am sure you will love it.

Word Press and Blogger is the two most popular blog platforms available. The question is now which platform should I use? Sometimes I heard people said Word Press is better than Blogger and vice versa.

Let me clarify, if you are a beginner, use blogger as it is a free blog than own by google. You do not have to submit to google for search engine optimization as it is own by google. You only need to submit to Yahoo and MSN.

However the only disadvantage is you do not have control on the blogger design and domain name as it is all provided by Blogger.

As for Word Press, you will need a web hosting and domain name to start blogging. You need to download a plug in software to install to your own hosting. Anyway Word Press also have a free blogging at wordpress.com

My suggestions is, if you are new in blogging, use Blogger and for more advance user you can try out Word Press.

If you plan to make some money with blogging. Google adsense and Affiliate program is the most easier way to start.
