The Biggest Mistakes in Internet Marketing

They are always people asking how to start online business? What to sell online? How do I know people will buy from me and how much can I make? How to received payment and etc…..

For this articles, I am only going to discuss on “Supply “and “Demand” principle.

For other questions, you can find the answer in my Blog Archives.

I believe a lot people have heard about the concept of “Supply vs Demand” right? If there is a demand, definitely there will be supply.

However when come to online business, a lot of internet marketer eventually ignore this part. They think of creating an “Ultimate Product” to sell online. Product that no one is selling except themself. In other words, No Competitor!

They believe the “Ultimate Product” is going to make them RICH!

You know what! you are making a BIG mistakes in your life. If your product do not have any competitors at all, then it is pretty sure that is no one searching for that product as well.

A really powerful marketing tips I learned from my Internet Guru Alex Mandossian is that “Always Improve, Do Not Invent” Find a product that already available online and improved the quality or add more benefits to that existing product. You must create a Unique Selling Proposition (USP). There is where you differentiate your business from other competitor and make them buy from you over and over again.

Alright now, you know the concept of supply and demand. How do I know what are online people searching for? What keyword there type in search engine and how often they looking for certain product.

To find out the answer, I recommend Word Tracker. It is really useful tools to do keyword research for popular search engine like Google, Yahoo and MSN. You can try for the Free trial but with limited features.

Try out and I am sure you will love it.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Chinese out there a

“Prosperous Chinese New Year” and Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Increased Your Sales with Payment Gateway

Do you selling any information or product online? Do you have payment gateway that will accept payment online via credit card? If you do not have, you need to continuous read these articles.

Internet Business is all about “Automation”. In other words, once your online business is start up, you want it to run 24/7 and 365 days a year with little of your time and effort

You do not want to spend your time in front of computer to process any payment online and sending your products to your customer..

If you plan to make your internet business big and successful you MUST have a payment gateway.

In customer point of view, if they like your product, they want to get your product easily and fast. If you ask them to call, email and fax before any purchases is made. You are losing your customer fast.

Customer is very Impatient. The more step you ask your customer before purchasing, the less they will purchase. Survey found that you are loosing about 15 % of your potential sales.

Setting up payment online is NOT rocket science. You need find a payment gateway that will accept credit card. For myself I will recommend Pay Pal. It is easy to set up and accept payment worldwide.

You can purchases or send money to anyone with an email address in 55 countries and regions. By the way, set up a Pay Pal is FREE!

Accepting credit card online will

  • Increase Business Credibility
  • Capture Impatient buyer
  • Fully automated

As for me, they is a problem to set up Pay Pal in Malaysia. It is because when you sign up and there ask for the country you come from, surprisingly you can’t find country name “Malaysia”.

Do not ask me why? I do not know as well……..believe this is something to do with the security measurement I guess.

Ok, do these stop me from setting up Pay Pal account? The answer is NO. I can always use another Country address. I set up Pay Pal with Singapore address. By the way Singapore is Malaysia neighbour country and pay pal have an office at Singapore.

Any payment will send via cheque to Singapore. From Singapore I can ask them to send to me at Malaysia.

That is how the system works! Not rocket science right.

Start apply Pay Pal Account now and integrated to you website. Hope this information Help.

If you have any concern or questions on payment gateway, you can leave a messages in this Blog. I will try to answer your questions as soon as possible.

Cheers!

World Internet Users

Do you know which region in this world have the most internet user? Is it Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, Middle East or Australia/Oceania?

The answer is Asia! Yes it in Asia with approximately 389 million people online as Jan 2007. Follow by Europe 313 million and North America 232 million.

If you are a serious Internet Marketer, Asia is the market must tap into. China itself have about 36% user online which contribute the most to Asia region.

According to a semi-annual survey conducted by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), as of the end of 2006 the number of Internet users in China was estimated to be 137 million, a 10.5% penetration rate.

While that penetration rate is small compared with many other countries around the globe, China ranks second only to the US in the overall number of users online.

In fact, many analysts feel that the number of Internet users in China will surpass the number of US users within two years. At the current rate of growth it is forecast that Chinese Internet users will exceed the 210 million US users by 2009.

Importantly, over 90 million of those users are already connected by broadband. While the Chinese government figures show nearly 140 million Chinese users, there are less than half that many connected computers.

Vital Wave estimates that 50% or more of the users in China connect on shared-access points, such as Internet cafes and school labs, or by hand-held mobile devises.

Until the gap between Internet usage and computer ownership in China narrows, the market opportunities for hardware and software providers will not be as prevalent as the usage numbers would normally indicate.

"Without doubt, China is a considerable current and future market opportunity for many technology companies,"

"But to tap into that market, business managers have to evaluate market data in the context of their own business model."

Access aside, the CNNIC figures show that Chinese Internet users closely resemble users around the world, though the user population does skew more male than female.

Online, the Chinese tend to do exactly the same things as the rest of the world's users: check e-mail, read the news and search for and acquire information.

For more information on Internet development in Asia, go to China Online, India Online and Japan Online reports.

How about you? Which region is the most customer buy from you? Leave me a messages if you have anything to share with me.

Cheers!
